Product categories

The 159 series is a complete UF unit: stainless steel 304 housing, PVDF hollow fiber core and a pressure gauge on the cover. It uses outside-in pressurized filtration, and the PVDF fibers are tough and chemical resistant. With 6 and 15 m³/h models it suits buildings, small factories and pre-treatment for RO systems.

Key features

  • PVDF hollow fibers, strong and chemical resistant
  • Outside-in pressurized ultrafiltration
  • Filtration rating 0.01 µm
  • Pressure gauge on the cover and built-in drain valve
  • Complete set: housing, membrane core and accessories

What is UF membrane filtration?

Ultrafiltration (UF) uses hollow fiber membranes with pores of about 0.01 – 0.1 µm, between microfiltration (MF) and reverse osmosis (RO). It removes suspended solids, colloids, bacteria, viruses and large organic molecules but keeps dissolved minerals in the water, so treated water still contains natural minerals. Fibers are made of hydrophilic polymers such as PVC, PVDF, PAN or PES, which resist chemicals and reduce fouling.

Practical applications

Buildings and apartments

Central filtration for the building water supply.

Small factories

Process water and pre-treatment for RO.

Schools and hospitals

Safe water at the point of entry.
