Product categories

A medium-size UF membrane for whole-house filtration, villas and small buildings. Hydrophilic hollow fibers remove up to 99.99% of bacteria and sediment, giving clear water with turbidity below 0.1 NTU. The three-port design (inlet, outlet, flush) allows easy backwashing.

Key features

  • Pore size 0.01 µm
  • Filtrate turbidity < 0.1 NTU, up to 99.99% of bacteria removed
  • Three ports: inlet, outlet and flush
  • Average membrane life 3 – 5 years

What is UF membrane filtration?

Ultrafiltration (UF) uses hollow fiber membranes with pores of about 0.01 – 0.1 µm, between microfiltration (MF) and reverse osmosis (RO). It removes suspended solids, colloids, bacteria, viruses and large organic molecules but keeps dissolved minerals in the water, so treated water still contains natural minerals. Fibers are made of hydrophilic polymers such as PVC, PVDF, PAN or PES, which resist chemicals and reduce fouling.

Practical applications

Houses and villas

Whole-house filtration from city water or wells.

Small buildings

Clean water for offices and guesthouses.

Before RO

Pre-treatment for drinking water RO units.
